About New Entry Food Hub
New Entry Food Hub aims to build long term economic self-reliance and food security among beginning farmers in eastern Massachusetts, and to expand access of healthy and culturally appropriate foods in underserved areas through production of locally-grown foods. Many New Entry farmers grow crops on less than 5 acres of land, and many have limited English language skills, transportation, or computer literacy- all of which are needed to be able to develop an individual CSA. New Entry CSA aggregates produce to remove these barriers to connecting directly with their consumers. New Entry also partners with community organizations to improve food access in under-resourced communities.
